My Precious Ellaroo is 4 mo

Where has the time gone, Ellie?  You are four months. You smile and talk all the time. You have the sweetest disposition. 

You are in size 2 diapers, 3-6 month clothes, and just started eating your first baby foods. 

I love watching you grow into your own. Stay sweet my Baby Girl.

Eleanor is a month old

Dear Eleanor, 

You are now a month old and I love you soooo much. You love to cuddle with Mama. And right now you are a mama's girl. 

You weigh 6lbs 11oz. Still a little peanut. You are wearing a preemie diaper and preemie clothes.

Eleanor Rose is here!

Born Wednesday, February 12, 2014 @ 8:01am. She came to the world screaming, pink, and healthy. Her apgar was 9/9/9. She weighed 5lbs 8 oz and was 18" long. She's absolutely perfect. 

She was united with me about 2 hrs post pardom and has been with me pretty much since. She is nursing like a pro and has no issues. 

I love her so much!!!!

Today's the day!!!

Its 3:38 am, I'm up and dressed. Your daddy is up and moving. We will be heading to the hospital very shortly. 

In just a matter of hours we will see your sweet face, my darling. I'm so excited. Neither of us slept very well, but I didn't think we would. 

Two days!

  Here it is Monday!  Hoping to keep myself busy today with some laundry and small house chores. 

I want to spend as much time as I can with your sisters, especially Lillian. I won't get to pick her up for awhile after you are born. 

There's your sweet big sister:)

Arriving this week...

Only a couple more days. Tomorrow I plan on finishing up laundry and other household chores. Tuesday I'm going to repack the bags and make sure we have everything, then vacuum out the car for you. Tuesday night Daddy and I will be heading towards Roanoke. We want a last date night before you come to us. 

But we won't get to stay out late because we have to be at hospital 4:30 am on Wednesday morning.

Oh what a morning

I guess it all began at midnight. I woke up with reflux and decided to move into living room. My daughter woke up an hour or so after and came to lay on recliner with me. 

At 3:30 I started to feel queasy so I moved my daughter into the recliner I got up and took a Zofran hoping to head off the stomach bug. And tried to sleep on the couch. My stomach was killing me. I was still queasy. I tried to will the Zofran to work. 6:30 I couldn't take it anymore, so I got up and was immediately sick. 

Oh great, I had caught the stomach bug. I started debating whether to call off my appt or not. I took my fasting sugar 90. Then at 7:30 I took my bp. 205/100. !!!  Oh no!!!  

At 7:45 I was sick again, and had the worst pain in my stomach. Bp was 180/100. 

Waiting now to call my dr. and see what he wants me to do. 

Well it's 1pm. Got into L&D around 11am. Bp was a bit high then it leveled out. Stomach pains were still very severe. Turns out I was extremely dehydrated. 

So dr put me on iv fluids and Zofran for nausea. Hopefully it will help. 

Looks like you will not be joining us today. See you on Wednesday!!

In 6 days...

Princess Eleanor will be here. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. I can't wait to see your sweet face. 

I just hope this cold and stomach bug leaves this house so we are all healthy to celebrate your arrival. 

I just have one more appointment to go until you are with us. Only one more ultrasound!!!!

Two weeks!!!

 In just two weeks you'll be here. I can't believe it!!!  I'm so excited to see your sweet face. It's crazy that we get to have this all scheduled and we know. 

Friday we will see you in the ultrasound and get an estimate of how big you might be on your birthday. Wow.
